Love is an aspect of Islam
Hate is an aspect of Islam. We must hate for the sake of ALLAH. What do I mean? You must hate what ALLAHSWT has forbid.
La Ilaha Illallah negates the fact that you believe there is no God,but ALLAH and only ALLAHSWT can give you good and evil.
And [know that] if God should touch thee with misfortune, there is none who could remove it save Him; and if He intends good for thee, there is none who could turn away His bounty: He causes it to alight upon whomsoever He wills of His servants. And He alone is truly forgiving, truly a dispenser of grace (10:107)
ISLAM IS THE ONLY WAY OF LIFE and there WILL NOT be ANY CHRISTIANS, JEWS, HINDUS, ATHIESTS in Heaven according to the interpretation of the meaning:
"Whoever seeks after a Religion other than Islaam, never will it be accepted from him, and in the Hereafer he will be one of the loosers." [Soorah Aal-'Imraan 3:85
We must not use a FATWA that goes against ALLAH's commands. For example: Many women try looking for a fatwa that allows them to pluck or shave their eyebrows. We must not take our husbands, kid, jobs, and wealth as being our god!
"And of mankind there are those who take others besidesAllaah as rivals to Allaah. They love them as they should love Allaah." [Soorah al-Baqarah 2:165
Allah tells us in the Qur'an that we should not be friends with the disbelievers:
“O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and Christians for friends. They are Awliyaa(friends) to each other. And the one among you that turns to them is one of them. Indeed, Allah guides not an unjust people.” (5:51)AllahSWT continues to tell us that WE MUST HATE the kuffar for his sake:
“You will not find any people that believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and his Messenger (s.a.w.), even though they were their fathers, sons, brothers, or relatives….” (58:22)
Finally, its important that we love our fellow sisters and brothers in Islam:
“The Believers, men and women, are protectors, one of another,” (9:71
When one takes the shahada, La Illaha IllALLAH, then one negates that there is another god, and we affirm that there is NO GOD, BUT ALLAH and that we believe that MuhammadSAW is the last Prophet of God.

ReplyDeleteThe verse is simple. Islam is the only acceptable religion to die upon, and being kafr is not going to cut it.
SF M: The argument here is that even a person who doesn't consider himself Muslim can be a "submitter to God" and would not be considered a kafir. I think you misunderstood what she was saying!
ReplyDeleteI agree with DD 100%. Islam is submission to God and anyone who submits to God is a Muslim. As for what God accepts as submitting to him, we can never know and can only do our very best.
I would have to disagree because ALLAHSWT says clear in the Qur'an and Sunnah that being a Muslim is one who submits.

with which I have been sent, but he will be one of the people of Hell."

Umm... makes no sense.
Salam, if you further read down then you will see what submission means in Islam. The QUR'AN came down as the last revelation and we follow the qur'an. ALLAHSWT says that whoever dies upon any other religion other than ISLAM will not be ACCEPTED by him. SIMPLE! VERY SIMPLE!
ReplyDeleteIf non muslims go to heaven why would our Prophet pbuh, try so hard to convert his uncle a very good man ,on his death bed? So it's not right to say who will be admitted in Jannah, because this hadith claerly shows that you have to have said shahada.
ReplyDeleteNarrated Al-Musaiyab: When Abu Talib was on his death bed, Allah's Apostle came to him and found with him, Abu Jahl and Abdullah bin Abi Umaiya bin Al-Mughira. Allah's Apostle said, "O uncle! Say: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, a sentence with which I will defend you before Allah." On that Abu Jahl and 'Abdullah bin Abi Umaiya said to Abu Talib, "Will you now leave the religion of 'Abdul Muttalib?" Allah's Apostle kept on inviting him to say that sentence while the other two kept on repeating their sentence before him till Abu Talib said as the last thing he said to them, "I am on the religion of 'Abdul Muttalib," and refused to say: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah. On that Allah's Apostle said, "By Allah, I will keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for you unless I am forbidden (by Allah) to do so." So Allah revealed:-- 'It is not fitting for the Prophet and those who believe that they should invoke for forgiveness for pagans.' (9.113) And then Allah revealed especially about Abu Talib:--'Verily! You (O, Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He will.' (28.56) Sahih Bukhari Book #60, Hadith #295
